ADC Semen Production Center

The new plant at the Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) will produce half a million doses annually.

According to ADC Managing Director Richard Aiyabei , the capacity will be increased to 3 million semen doses from next year once they buy 30 more bulls.

The one billion facility is expected to bring back dairy farmers who have been kept off by the high costs of artificial insemination services with many seeking alternative ways to breed their animals resulting to poor animal breeds and yields.

The Agricultural Development Corporation has completed construction of the facility constructed in Endebess in Trans Nzoia County and started collecting bull semen from 20 bulls.
